Rental Car Village offers a variety of budget car rentals, including touring cars and cheap car hire in Auckland City, New Zealand.

Touring Cars:  Station wagon or sedan with 1500 cc, gasoline engine. 

Cheap car hire for Auckland City.  These vehicles are only available for travel within Auckland City and Suburbs only.  We have cars available for hire every day; however they cannot be booked in advance.

Cook Stait Ferry:
All campervans are less than 5.5 meters in length and classed as a car for Wellington to Picton ferry.

Insurance (included): Standard excess is $2,000
Our standard insurance excess on all of our vehicles is $2,000. This is the most you would have to pay in the unlikely event of an accident. This covers both single and multiple vehicle accidents.

Zero Excess (optional): $15 per day or maximum $300 per hire
You can choose to purchase the Zero Excess, which means if you have an accident, you do not have to pay anything. This also includes multiple tyre punctures.
